On February 23, 2017, the preliminary of the Google Hash Code 2017 took place in Prague, Lille, Tunisia, … and in our beloved hometown Antwerp. It was an immense success and a rollercoaster of joy, organization, stress and competitive spirits.
The assignment was to minimize the loading time of a video by pre-saving the most popular ones on servers nearby. Our winning team placed 15th in Belgium and 358th worldwide, not bad when you know there were 2815 teams competing!
Today, April 1st, the final takes place at the Google office in Paris. So excited who will be the winner! Read along for some extra facts…
